¡@¡@After coming back from the
US, I am glad to reinitiate my life in the BEL. Without
any biotech background, I was not very frustrated with
the new environment but easily adapt myself to the system
under colleagues¡¦ supports and supervisors¡¦ instructions.
I also feel comfortable to gain a variety of biotech knowledge;
in the meanwhile, I can properly apply my specialty into
the work. BEL always encourages the employees to make
use of the resources to further enhance any skills or
acquire new knowledge. In addition, employees are allowed
to use creative ideas to conduct researches in order to
achieve goals. People here are definitely helpful, sincere,
and approachable.
¡@¡@They are also intelligent, competitive, and task-driven.
Since I have ever experienced unpleasant situations in
my career in the US, I indeed appreciate the ways that
people interact and concern to each other in BEL. I wish
I could cultivate my mind more in the following days. |

¡@¡@After graduating from the school, I have
been working in the Biomedical Engineering Research Laboratories
of ITRI serving defense of alternative military service
for approximately one year. Compared with many research
centers or institutes, ITRI, close to Hsinchu Science
Park, NTHU and NCTU, obviously possesses location advantages
to easily obtain resources for research. One of ITRI's
policies to highly value employees impresses me very much.
ITRI exclusively provides a variety of the training programs
such as the lessons in language enhancement, intellectual
property right acquirement and maintenance, and employee
counseling and management.
¡@¡@My present ongoing project involves the development
of immune suppressive mechanism of cell screening on the
new drug and herbal medicine research to establish a new
type of drug screening model. The preliminary step of
drug screening is preceded through the method of cell
coculture. BEL is equipped with several laboratories used
to conduct biology and chemistry research, and innovative
machines and facilities to meet the experiment need. Further,
in an attempt to prevent any accidental occurrences, ITRI
thoroughly regulates the rules and principles in laboratory
industrial safety, disposal dealing, and the usage of
the cell-lab-related machines.
¡@¡@Undoubtedly, BEL is composed of a group of younger,
energetic, ambitious employees to fulfill the prospective
goals. BEL's excellent perspective and view on the future
trend towards research confirms its significant position
in the biomedical industry, highlighting its influential
effects. In the future, I wish I could maximize my potential
ability to accomplish each goal because I am committed
to be dedicated to the work by making use of the applied
knowledge and personal contribution.
